In addition to being a “maker” of glass I am a learner. Much of my time is spent creating for Individuals and galleries, or teaching others the joys of working with glass. When I become a learner I become transformed.
This June I had the opportunity to spend 8 days with two amazing teachers, Richard Parrish and Steve Klein, and with 7 other incredible glass makers. The title of the class was Genius Loci - Spirit of the Place: Yellowstone National Park. We spent two long days in the park to get inspiration and 6 days learning creating processes and testing glass ideas. My work from this experience will be shown at Aurora Gallery in May 2020. I am sharing some of my YNP picture and will post some of my exploration along the way.
